Sea Water Baths Lymington

Lymington Sea Water Baths


The open air seawater baths date back to the 1833 and gained national interest for its health, strengthening waters and mud. Now you can enjoy the inflatable water toys, kayaks, stand up paddle-boarding, climbing tower, and radio controlled yachts.

Open from May to September from 07:30-09:30 and 12:00-18:00 
Weekends: 10:00-18:00.

Isle of White Ferry


The shortest and fastest vehicle route to the Isle of Wight is between Lymington, in the New Forest and Yarmouth in West Wight. This 35 minute route is served by three new ferries which cruise the most picturesque route to the IOW.

Lymington Quay

Lymington Quay


In bygone days Lymington Quay was a busy commercial port exporting great quantities of salt to Newfoundland, and importing coal, rum from and timber. Today about 12 commercial fishing boats operate out of the Quay, and there are around 100 berths for visiting boats.

Lymington.org have put together a pictureque circular trip around Lymington town and the surrounding countryside. The walk has been photographed and a map has also been provided. The walk should take about an hour and a half and can also be a cycle route.

Hurst Castle

Hurst Castle is situated at the seaward end of the shingle spit that extends 1.5 miles from Milford-On-Sea. The end of the spit, only three-quarters of a mile from the Isle of Wight, and the views from the top of the centre keep are spectacular.
